Text description provided by the architects. Grow, Harvest, Eat, Play, Study! “Oishii” means delicious in Japanese. A project to open a small field in Kumano Shingu as a private-public space (a park, a library). The site is two buildings across the temple from "Youth Library Engawa". There is an elementary school across the street, and it is a place where children can see it well. "Youth Library Engawa" opened in 2013 as a "library where you can stay" by renovating an old private house. At the same time as providing lodging for travelers, it also provides a public space open to local residents (especially children).

The total redesign of the iconic, mid-70s, “Hanikian” hotel, embodies elements of the topography of its legendary location on the Corinthian Gulf, shaping a new architectural identity. The formerly rectangular, repetitively formed, modernist building was endowed with an organic form, inspired by landscape formations under the bright natural light.

This studio class project is a factory built from mass timber that will house a mass timber housing manufacturer at the Port of Portland's Terminal 2 on the Willamette river. This project was designed for Mass Plywood Panels (MPP). This studio project was done as a group. This is not a real, built project.
